DAY 01  ARRIVE DELHIqutub minar

Welcome to India!  Meeting and assistance on arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free and at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02 DELHI

After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Among some of the most interesting highlights of your city tour of Old and New Delhi are the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat in the old city area and the Government Buildings.  Take a drive past the majestic Rajpath to the India Gate, the Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutab Minar.

Day 03 DELHI – AGRA (205 kms/5 hrs approx)

After breakfast departure by road to Agra. Upon arrival check in at your hotel. In the afternoon go on a sightseeing tour of Agra city which includes a visit to the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan.  This beautiful mausoleum is built of pure white marble and is an architectural marvel. It was built in the memory of his beloved wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal. The building was conceived as a garden tomb with the mausoleum rising at the far end of the complex with the river Yamuna flowing below. Beneath the dome are the cenotaphs of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jehan.

Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar over the years 1565 – 1573 with its maze of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers. Most of the buildings originally built by Akbar were destroyed and were replaced by his grandson Shah Jehan. The only surviving structure from Akbar’s period apart from the solid sandstone ramparts and the gateway is the Jehangir Mahal. It is the biggest private residence in the complex and its architecture reflects strong influences from Hindu overtones.

Day 04 AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – BHARATPUR (55 Kms/2 hrs approx)

After breakfast, departure by road to Bharatpur en – route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughal India. Among the principal attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are the large audience halls, palaces, the Mosques, the tomb of Salim Chishti, The Panchmahal, and the Buland Darwaza, which is among the biggest gates in Asia. Continue your drive and upon arrival in Bharatpur check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 BHARATPUR – RANTHAMBORE (232 kms/6 hrs approx)

Early morning visit to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary,  a UNESCO World Heritage Site where 377 species of birds, including roseate spoonbill, Dalmatian pelican, and several species of crane, converge on just 11 square miles of wetland and scrubland habitat.

After breakfast departure by road to Ranthambore upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free and at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 IN RANTHAMBORERANTHAMBORE

Early morning and afternoon Wildlife Safari to the Ranthambore National Park, Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR (145 kms/3.5 hrs approx)

Early morning wildlife safari to the Ranthambore national Park. Later departure by road to Jaipur and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activity. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 IN JAIPURhawa mahal

After early breakfast, take an excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir of the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Take a ride on a gaily decorated elephant to the ramparts of the Fort.

In the afternoon go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur city. Among the principal sights are the Jantar Mantar of the Observatory, The Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal, the City Palace & Museum. Jaipur is also a major center of precious and semi precious stones, jewellery, cotton textiles and the typical Blue Pottery. Overnight at the hotel.

 Day 09 DEPART JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast, in time departure transfer to the airport to board flight to next destination.
