Highlights of Sri Lanka (8 Days / 7 Nights)

Day 1 Colombo Airport – Colombo
Arrival at airport, welcome, assistance and transfer to your hotel in Colombo. Afternoon city tour. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Colombo – Pinnawela – Sigiriya or Dambulla
Visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Sigiriya or Dambulla – Polonnaruwa and return
Proceed to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Sigiriya or Dambulla – Matale – Kandy
Visit the Rock Cave Temple in Dambulla, and then a Spice Garden and a Batik factory in Matale. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kandy by three-wheelers (Tuk Tuk). Evening cultural dance show and visit to the Temple of Tooth Relic. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Kandy – Nanu Oya – Nuwara Eliya
Take the train from Kandy Railway Station to Nanu Oya. Transfer to the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Afternoon sightseeing tour. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Nuwara Eliya – Ella
After breakfast, leave for Ella Adventure Park for activities such as slithering roping, monkey roping and toddy trapper. Dinner and overnight stay at Ella Adventure campsite tents or eco lodges.
Day 7 Ella – Yala
Leave for Yala. Afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Yala – Colombo Airport or Beruwela Beach
Transfer to Colombo Airport for your flight home or to Beruwela Beach if you are extending your stay.
