Day 1: Siem Reap arrival – Angkor Wat
Upon arrival Siem Reap International Airport, you will be met our tour guide and driver and transfer to the hotel for check in. Afternoon, start exploring the Wonder of the World “Angkor Wat temple” which was built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is considered as a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Banteay Srei
Breakfast at hotel. Continue visit the Angkor Thom by starting from South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous giant stone faces Bayon temple which was built in late 12th early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, Baphuon temple – the huge temple-mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Phimean Akas temple, and other two Leper King Terrace and Elephant Terrace which was built by King Jayavarman VII in 12th century. Afternoon, we visit to the small and charming Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of Women which is showcasing the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architecture. On the way back, we visit another temple – Banteay Samré, was built in the mid of 12th century. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Siem Reap – Grand & Small Circuits
Breakfast at hotel. We continue visit to the Grand Circuit inclusive Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII in 12th century which dedicate to the king’s father. A small island Neak Pean temple, built in late 12th and early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII. This temple is most photogenic and exciting images in the wet season once the pools are full. Then, we visit the large temple-mountain-like ruin East Mebon and Pre Rup temples, were constructed in the late 10th century by King Rajendravarman II devoted to religion Hindu and Shiva God.
Afternoon, continue visit the Small Circuit. The most interested temple in this circuit is Ta Prohm, built in 12th-13th centuries which is covered by growing jungle and vines in many parts. Besides, we visit as well with Banteay Kdei temple, the royal bath Terrace of Sras Srang (the pool of ablutions).Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Kampong Thom
Morning transfer by overland to Kampong Thom via National Road no. 6. We check-in at the hotel and start city tour. Afternoon, we continue visit to the pre-Angkorian temple of Sambo Prei Kuh with more than a hundred temples. The site was a former Khmer Capital Chenla named “Isanapura”, built by King Isanavarman I in 7th century. Back to the town and overnight in Kampong Thom.
Day 5: Kampong Thom – Kampong Cham
We continue overland to Kampong Cham. We stop visit the Sculpture Village at Santuk District to see many kinds of stone sculptures which hand-made by villagers, and stop at Skun village to experience the popular and traditional food of Skun villagers is Fried Spider.Arrival Kampong Cham town at noon time. Check-in and have a sightseeing trip to Phnom Bros and Phnom Srei (Male and Female Hills), and Nokor Bachey temple. Overnight in Kampong cham.
Day 6: Kampong Cham – Kratie – Rattanak Kiri
We leave the Kampong Cham for hill tripe zone. On the way, we stop and visit the Rubber Plantation and the Pagoda of 100 columns in Kratie – the River dolphin’s Home. Go on trip to Rattanak Kiri. Around 10km far before reaching Banlung – the provincial town of Rattanak Kiri, we take chance to visit Teun Village – Kreung tribe minority village. Arrive Banlung and check-in. After, sightseeing by city tours and visit Yeak Laom Lake – the former volcanic eruption with its 50m depth where we can relax, swim and enjoy a panoramic view. Lastly, leisure to Eysei Patamak Mountain to see reclining Buddha and view Rattanak Kiri landscape from atop. Overnight in Rattanak Kiri.
Day 7: Rattanak Kiri – Andaung Meas – Hill Tribe Villages
Breakfast and continue road trip to Andoung Meas district. On the way, we visit few of Charai hill tribe villages. Arrive there at noon time. Take the traditional boat trip along Sesan River to visit graves of Charai ethnic in the forest. On the waterway back, we embark and visit another Tumpun hill tribe village. Arrive at pier and drive back to the town. On the way, we visit the gem-mining zone to experience the traditional equipment and method to explore gems. As well, we visit Phnom Village to see hill tribe villagers weaving handicraft where we can buy it as souvenir. Overnight in Rattanak Kiri.
Day 8: Rattanak Kiri – Phnom Penh
Morning drive to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia by across, Steung Treng, Kratie, Kampong Cham and Kandal Provinces. We arrive the city around evening time. Check-in and free at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 9: Phnom Penh Sightseeing
Breakfast, start visit the Royal Palace which was built in 1866 and the National Museum closed-by.Afternoon, visit to the Genocide Museum “Tuol Sleng”, former prison S-21 in Khmer Rouge regime specially designed for the interrogation, examination and torture. Then, visit the Killing Field “Cheung Ek”, site of the brutal execution and thousands of innocent Cambodian people were killed after suffered through torture and deprivation in Tuol Sleng Prison. Thing to do last for today is leisure yourself at Tuol Tumpoung market (called as Russian Market) to see the colorful souvenir thing. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 10: Phnom Penh – Oudong – Phnom Penh
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to visit Oudong, the former capital city before Phnom Penh. On the way, we stop at Silver Village to experience the method of local people hand-made all kinds of jewelry from silver. Arrival the old city and climb up to the top of Phnom Preah Reach Troap to visit numerous of former king’s stupas and other ancient temples. Afternoon return back to Phnom Penh, and we visit the Independence Monument and Wat Phnom Hill. Lastly, enjoy with sunset cruise on Mekong River for one hour before transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 11: Phnom Penh departure
Breakfast at hotel. Free till transfer time to airport for departure flight.
