Day 6 Mysore – Coorg
Depart for Coorg. Check-in and lunch at Plantation Lodge. Visit plantations by jeep. Evening demonstration of Indian cooking.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7 Coorg – Gurupura – Kabini and return
Depart for Tibetan Monastery and carpet weaving centre at Gurupura. Depart for Kabini Jungle Resort for lunch and wildlife safari ride. Wildlife movie, dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 8 Coorg – Coonoor
Early morning jungle ride to view wildlife including anelephant camp visit. Depart for Coonoor Hill-station in Tamil Nadu with lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Coonoor – Mettupalayam – Coimbatore
Visit the tea gardens around Coonoor. Lunch at Coonoor. Steam train journey to Mettupalayam. Transfer to Coimbatore.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Coimbatore – Cochin
Depart for Cochin in Kerala. Lunch at hotel. Visit the Chinese fishing nets, spice market and St Francis Church. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Cochin – Kumarakom
Depart for Kumarakom, the backwater region of Kerala. Check-in at Heritage Resort. Backwater cruise.
Dinner and overnight on houseboat.
Day 12 Kumarakom – Vandanmedu
Breakfast on the houseboat. Disembark and depart for Vandanmedu, in the Cardamom Hills in the Western Ghats. Check-in and lunch at Heritage Resort. Spice
Plantation experience.
Dinner and overnight at Resort.
Day 13 Vandanmedu – Madurai
Birdwatching before breakfast. Depart for Madurai. Lunch. Visit Meenakshi Temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14 Madurai – Karaikudi and return
Depart for Karaikudi in the Chettinad Heartland. Lunch at a Chettinad family bungalow. Return to Madurai.

Day 15 Madurai – Bangalore – Bangalore Airport
