Sri Lankan Adventure (8 Days / 7 Nights)

Day 1 Colombo Airport – Sigiriya or Dambulla
Arrival at airport, welcome, assistance and transfer to your hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla. Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Sigiriya or Dambulla – Polonnaruwa and return
Proceed to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Sigiriya or Dambulla – Minneriya and return
Jeep safari at Minneriya National Park. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Sigiriya or Dambulla – Matale – Kandy
Visit the Rock Cave Temple in Dambulla, and then a Spice Garden and a Batik factory in Matale. In the evening watch a cultural dance show and visit the Temple of Tooth Relic. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Kandy – Pinnawela – Kandy
Visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kandy by three-wheelers (Tuk Tuk).
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Kandy – Nanu Oya – Nuwara Eliya
Take the train from Kandy Railway Station to Nanu Oya. Transfer to the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Afternoon sightseeing tour.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains and return
Excursion to Horton Plains by jeep, returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 Nuwara Eliya – Kithulgala – Colombo Airport or Beruwela Beach
Soft white water rafting at Kithulgala, the location used for the famous film ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai‘. Transfer to Colombo Airport for your flight home or to Beruwela Beach if you are extending your stay.
