Morning sightseeing of Shore Temple of Mahabalipuram. Lunch at hotel. Check-out and depart for Pondicherry. Evening cultural programme and theme dinner.

Day 3

Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Kumbakonam

Heritage visit to Pondicherry. Depart for lunch. Temple sightseeing in Chidambaram. Depart for Kumbakonam. Evening cultural programme and theme dinner.

Kumbakonam – Tanjore – Madurai

Visit the School of Iconography. Depart for lunch. Visit Tanjore Fort including interaction with Royal Family. Depart for Madurai. Evening cultural programme and theme dinner.

Madurai – Karaikudi

Depart for Karaikudi for a Chettinad experience. Visit Chettinad Fortress Mansions for a first-hand glimpse of the traditional Chettinad lifestyle. Lunch and dinner at Karaikudi.

Karaikudi – Madurai – Thekkady

Visit Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. Depart for Thekkady in the neighbouring state of Kerala. Lunch and birdwatching. Evening cultural programme and theme dinner.

Thekkady – Kumarakom

Puttenangadi – Mararikulum
